Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 22, 2026
Authenticator App Pro(“we”, “us”) is built around a simple principle: your security data belongs to you. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles and how it is protected.
Information we collect
Authenticator App Pro does not require an account and does not collect personal information. Your two-factor authentication secrets and generated codes are created and stored locally on your device. We never transmit them to our servers because we do not operate servers that receive them.
On-device storage & encryption
All account secrets are encrypted on your device using industry-standard AES-256 encryption. Optional biometric locking (Fingerprint or Face unlock) adds a further layer of protection so that only you can view your codes.
Backups
If you choose to enable encrypted backup, your data is encrypted before it leaves your device. You are responsible for keeping any backup password safe; we cannot recover it on your behalf.
Analytics & tracking
The app contains no advertising SDKs and does not track your behavior, sell your data, or build a profile about you.
Permissions
- Camera — used only to scan QR codes when you add an account. Images are not stored or transmitted.
- Biometrics — used only to unlock the app if you enable that option.
Children’s privacy
The app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
